Math Statuses

STAR Student Report, which should arrive by mail in late summer. Students can also determine their EAP Status through this website.

Listed below are the EAP math statuses. To learn more about your EAP status, click the corresponding link below.

Ready for CSU or participating CCC college-level mathematics courses

 

  • Congratulations! Your score met the ELM requirement.
  • Stay in math as a senior to maintain your skills.
  • Ask your counselor to help you choose math classes to prepare for your college major.

 

» Ready for CSU or participating CCC college-level mathematics courses - Conditional

 

  • You demonstrated readiness at this point in time on the EAP math test.
  • You need to continue to take math (Algebra II or higher) in your senior year to be ready for the CSU next year.
  • Check the Conditional Status page to learn more about your options.

 

» Not yet demonstrating readiness for CSU or participating CCC college-level mathematics courses

 

  • Your score did not meet the ELM requirement
  • Check the ELM Requirement page to see all possible ways to meet it
  • Improve your skills by continuing to take math as a senior.

 

» Incomplete

 

  • Your test cannot be scored because you did not identify the test type (Algebra, Algebra II Summative Math, etc.).
  • Check the ELM Requirement page to see all possible ways to meet it.

English Statuses

 

Students who take part in the Early Assessment Program (EAP) will receive a STAR Student Report in August of their senior year informing them of their EAP English status. Students can also determine their EAP status online through this website.

 

Listed below are the EAP English statuses and a brief overview of their meaning. To learn more, click the corresponding link below.

 

» Ready for CSU or participating CCC college-level English courses
  • Congratulations! Your EAP score met the EPT requirement and you are ready for college level English.

 

» Ready for CSU or participating CCC college-level English courses - Conditional
  • Students with a conditional status have demonstrated readines at this point in time for English at the CSU. However, they will need to take an appropriate English course in the senior year to ensure that they continue to be ready.

 

» Not yet demonstrating readiness for CSU or participating CCC college-level English courses
  • Your EAP score did not meet the EPT Requirement. You should check to see if you have met the EPT Requirement in another way.
  • If you need to take the EPT test, use the Exam Prep tools to prepare for the test.

 

» Not Applicable
  • You did not correctly fill out all components of the EAP English test. You should check to see if you have met the EPT Requirement in another way.
  • If you need to take the EPT test, use the Exam Prep tools to prepare for the test.
